Support pets with an “Animal Friendly” license plate!

Support pets wherever you go with Animal Friendly spay/neuter license plates! By purchasing a license plate, you contribute directly to a statewide program benefiting Massachusetts animals. All funds are dispersed by a grant process to qualifying human organizations, shelters, and animal control agencies that provide spaying and neutering services for cats and dogs.

About the plates

Animal Friendly license plates cost $40 with $28 initially going to fund spay/neuter programs and $12 to covering the manufacture of the plate. Upon renewal, the entire $40 goes to the spay/neuter program. (The standard registration fee is due every two years upon renewal in addition to the Animal Friendly license plate fee.) About the Massachusetts Animal Coalition (MAC)

The Massachusetts Animal Coalition (MAC) is spearheading the Animal Friendly license plate initiative. The group is comprised of animal welfare professionals and volunteers who work together to decrease the number of homeless, neglected, displaced, and abused animals in Massachusetts.
