Support Staff

Our technicians are responsible for much of your pets care while in the hospital. They carry out a variety of duties in the animal hospital including anesthetic monitoring, surgical assistance, patient medications, and laboratory work. They work closely with the doctors and are responsible for the orderly flow of patient care throughout the day. Working closely with the doctors, they continually strive to deliver the highest level of care to your pet. Our technicians are extremely knowledgeable and compassionate members of our staff, and we feel very fortunate to have them as part of our team.

We are very fortunate to have receptionists who understand and respect the close bond between you and your pet. They are all knowledgeable pet owners themselves and know what its like to be on the other side of the desk. The front desk staff schedules appointments and procedures, discharge patients, and is available to answer your questions. If you have a concern that you wish to discuss with a doctor, they can relay your questions and get back to you as quickly as possible. They are a very dedicated group that does a great job ensuring the best care for your pet.

The Ashland Animal Hospital has an active volunteer program. We are involved with high school programs introducing students to the veterinary profession. If your son or daughter is interested in volunteering and is over 16 old give our hospital a call to schedule an interview.
