Melissa Bisesi, DVM

Dr. Bisesi has been a proud member of the Ashland Animal Hospital team since 2015. She values the long-term relationships she has developed with her clients over the years and believes in the importance of seeing the “big picture” when treating her patients.

She enjoys client education and feels that the best medical decisions are made when owners truly understand their pets’ medical issues and can actively participate in their care. Dr. Bisesi believes that medical practice is not “one size fits all”, and she takes the time to consider each family's individual preferences and circumstances when supporting her patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Bisesi’s family consists of her husband, their two children, and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Pixel and Dot. She enjoys knitting, reading, travel, and spending time with family.
